Qasem Tawfiq

Qasem Tawfiq is a Jordanian novelist, residing in Oman. He completed his university education at the University of Jordan. He worked in the banking sector in some countries in the Arab and non-Arab world. He retired to fully devote himself to writing literary novels in 2013.
He began writing in 1974 and published his first collection of novels during his study titled “It’s Time for Us to Rejoice” in 1977. He gained fame in literature locally and in the Arab world when he published his first novel “Mary Rose Crossing the City of The Sun” in 1985. He has published twelve novels and five story collections.
