Thaera Akrabawi
Thaera Akrabawi is a Jordanian writer who was born in Kuwait to Palestinian parents who fled from the village of Aqraba, in Nablus district, in the aftermath of the Six-day War (1967).
She studied in Kuwaiti schools until her family moved to Jordan in 1990, where she continued her university education and received a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Yarmouk University.
She started writing short stories in 1990 and participated in a number of literary seminars and evenings.
Her novel Al-Manatir was published in 2015.
